Employment Visas for Private Companies
Private companies in the UAE can obtain employment entry permits for their staff, provided the residence visa is applied for within 30 days of the employee entering the country.
Free Zone Companies: Employment visas are valid for three years.Mainland Companies: Employment visas are valid for two years.
Employers are also responsible for all travel arrangements, including the “okay to board” from airlines when required.
Family Residency Visas
(For UAE residents only)
To sponsor family members outside the UAE:
- Apply for an entry residence visa for your family.
- Once they arrive, you have 30 days to complete the residence stamp process.
Salary Requirements:
- Spouse and children: AED 4,000/month ( or AED 3,000 + accommodation)
- Parents: AED 20,000/month ( or AED 19,000 + two-bedroom accommodation)
Required Documents
- Completed application form
- Salary certificate (government employees) or attested work contract
- Bank statements: 3 months for long-term residents; 1 month + salary transfer letter for new residents
- Attested tenancy contract, Emirates ID, and labor card.
- Attested marriage certificate (UAE or home country)
- Original passports+copies of sponsor and family members
- Medical check-up for spouse/children over 15 from an authorized clinic
- Three passport photos per family member
Important Notes:
- Family members must not be outside the UAE for more than six months to keep the visa valid.
- Muslim expatriates married to multiple wives can sponsor only one wife for residence.
